Message	internal temperature close to the bearings may differ more than 3 degrees. I believe the same would be true regarding the oil itself. You are probably measuring...where? At the filter with a tree? Off the block? Either way, unless you are getting a temperature of the oil immediately out of the turbo, I'd say it is more than a 7 degree difference.
